Established in 2013, Titan Wrestling Club focuses on the development of athletes at the youth, middle school and high school levels. Dedicated to the growth of the sport of wrestling at the individual and community level, this sports club team is looking to update their online presence while continuing to build their brand and the sport of wrestling! In order to accomplish updating the clubs website we had to deal with a few challenges which are listed below.
SOLUTIONS
How do we update the design while preserving the brand’s identity?
We ensure the redesign incorporates core brand elements like logos, color schemes, and general tone of the brand while modernizing the overall aesthetic
How do we improve the site's functionality while improving the user experience?
We noticed it was impossible to complete a few of the task the stakeholders wanted users to be able to complete on the current site. The solution was to update navigation and content so users could have a simple and enjoyable user experience.
How do we meet business goals and align the design to stakeholders vision?
The solution was to define clear goals and maintain open communication throughout the entire process process!
How do we ensure the redesign is fully responsive across various devices?
We decided to adopt a mobile-first approach, prioritizing performance and design for smartphones and tablets.
How do we plan for Budget, Time Constraints, issues and scope creep?
We decided to set clear budgets, timelines, and milestones for this project, leaving plenty of time for any issues that may arrive in the timeline!
Addressing Challenges
The site's functionality and user experience were improved by making sure users were able to complete five core task
Users can join the Club Team and pay for team membership
Users can request to travel with the team to out of town competitions
Users can request to sign up for team spot for Highlight dual meet events
Users can purchase gear from the team store
Users can pay drop in fee for Friday night live Sessions
How do we update the design while preserving the brand’s identity?
We ensured the redesign incorporated core brand elements, specifically logos. We decided to highlight the submark logo for two reasons. The first reason being the logo is easily identifiable, the second reason being the logo design is clean and contributes to the modern aesthetic
How do we meet business goals and align the design to stakeholders vision?
We met business goals by clearly defining the goals and maintaining open communication throughout the design process. Overall the user wanted to improve functionality, and to update their online presence to an image that truly reflects their brand! By selecting the correct photo and video content we updated the image for the brand experience of a titan wrestling club member.

How do we plan for Budget, Time Constraints, and scope creep?
For this pro-bono project the budget was just the price of hosting. The timeline for this project was set at 1 month. The milestones for this project were created using business goals as references. We made sure we were leaving plenty of time for any issues that may arrive in the timeline!
