The Solution

REM-TAL is a  user friendly responsive website that makes the rental process simple and enjoyable across all devices.

a renter looking for rental properties, either browsing on a laptop or tablet or reviewing printed listings

THE  CHALLENGE

Busy working adults want a site that’s not complex, to find homes in communities that meet their expectations, in order to avoid a negative living experience.

Key Features

Heading 2

Renter Resources

Feature Highlight

The rental process can  be complex for those who are not experienced renters, and for experienced renters who have to deal with new situations.  The resources interface addresses complexity by providing pre and post process videos and pdf documents for renters and landlords to help them through the process.

Environment Analysis

Feature Highlight

The environment a property is located in determines whether a living experience meets users needs. High crime, lack of entertainment, neighbors, and management are factors that need to be considered when picking a property. This interface makes that easy!

____ Key Findings

What We did well

Listened to user feedback, analyzed feedback, applied changes to new and existing features based on user feedback and product goals

Used branding and storytelling to create a visually appealing product design and presentation

Our target audience shared that the design was “very user friendly”, more engaging with the images in place, and made the rental process “pretty simple”.

What I would do differently

I would prioritizing inner page navigation on longer pages for convenience

I learned how important it is to focus on the user needs when coming up with design ideas and solutions. Designing for different device sizes can force you to be creative with layout elements but consistency with functionality and hierarchy is key to create smooth experiences across devices.

What I learned

Next Steps

  • Identify any additional areas of business or and user needs to ideate new features  - feedback

  • Conduct a follow up design critique session, test and iterate on designs until kpi milestone are reached

  • Release new updated version of design that benefits both the user and stakeholders
